cheers! But seriously, which Hoover designer had the clever idea of putting a circuit board where it could be exposed to water?!! The dishwasher is only a few months old and might be still under warranty but I hope I can fix it myself, will try tommrow, thanks again for your replies.

I have the same problem on my Hoover washer (same model)-did you get yours fixed? If so what was the cause of the error?
