sounds like the plate heat exchanger is blocked.replace plate heat exchanger or have it cleaned out.this is a very common problem

the best thing to use is FX 2 liquid i use it all the time to descale plates and it leaves them as good as new.pour it in and leave it for 20 mins.you will know when it is done because it will stop fizzing. you can pick it up from plumb center and i have seen it in some independant merchants too.

when you say you have to reset the boiler do you get a red light? if so hold the button in for 3 seconds and it will give you a fault code via the 4 small lights.then check the code on the lower case flap.If the boiler is locking out (showing red)its unlikely to be the flow switch
