Except it's not irrelevant, box ticking means they simply don't get through the selection because they don't have degrees or are simply the wrong sex or race. It's exactly what happens in the police

Or the right people in the first place... Ex squaddies instead of 21 year olds with zero life experience who qualify because they have a degree in sociology or basket weaving...

Or reform of those services to make sure the right people get the right jobs...

To protect what THEY think we need protecting from... Well personally I think we need protecting from the likes of them screwing up our daily lives, yet we don't get to protest that without the law coming down heavily!

Why on earth should anyone have to be disrupted because a minority think their protest is more important than other people's freedom to just live their life?!

Undoubtedly todays are more accurate than those of 60 years ago, but I'd have thought they were accurate enough... Quite WHY they are at the levels they are at is impossible to tell of course, especially as we now have a population which is more than double what it was in 1960...

It's getting increasingly difficult seeing as the likes of google are censoring so many studies these days, and promoting the same ones which fit the "agenda"... I doubt the current measurements are inaccurate, but those in the past (and those in the future) are all a matter of mathematical...

Apparently some studies suggest that (some of course do not) but it's impossible to prove that burning fossil fuels was the primary cause of that when a) it was already on an upward trend and b) the population increased by a factor of eight since the early 1800s and c) the amount of rainforest...
