will it make any difference to the central heating system though?

im fitting a towel heater in the bathroom and im wanting 15mm chrome tails out of the wall but the current central heating pipe is 10mm. so.. can i run 10mm up so far & use a reducer but just have 15mm tails sticking out to connect to the rad? hope someone can help on this matter. cheers scott
