I too, doubt that it will come back inaccurate given my research into the subject... just limited for what else could be the cause. I live in a mid terrace; if it was theft, how the heck do I go about sourcing the problem?! I'd happily press charges if it ever came to that, but without digging...

Nice idea! In hindsight I should have done that earlier on in the process! I suspect (given the last few days readings) that the reading won't move now until they come and do the test though... if it even adds a digit there's an issue now though!!

Hi, I'm looking for some advice about my gas meter readings. Initial side note there has been minimal gas used since 1/4/17 as I was on holiday for 2 weeks (I'll revisit this again!) and haven't touched the central heating since. I.e. It was Always off but a combi boiler so supplies hot water...

So 1 person is saying 24Kw is not enough, the other is saying 24Kw is too much because I don't have that many radiators ... hmm...I guess I'll let someone else make that decision lol

I'll probably get a different plumber out then :) Thanks for your help. ps no we don't have 24m of radiator, probably about 10m. Does this mean a 10Kw would be more suitable ... ? If a new boiler turns out to be the better option :)

we've always had problems with it, it cuts out regularly, fails to light, and loses pressure. (needs re-pressuring twice a day) The pressure was being lost out of the overflow pipe,and out of the boiler. The overflow has now frozen over and the boiler now doesn't even try to light. I've...

To cut a very long story short, it looks like I need a new boiler. I have a combi boiler, and basically want another combi boiler slotting straight into its place. The pipework (i'm guessing) is all ok; overflow pipes fine, flu hole is there radiators are fine, plain a simple new boiler...
