    you can fit a mixer valve to a combi as long as you buy a mixer to suit a combi.will tell you on the box.you will need to take into account the gyprock depth along with the tile depth.soldering is ok make sure you get a full run on solder use yorkshire rather than end feed fittings.it might be...

    could be one of a number of things pilot injector blocked/incorrect spark gap/faulty fan/faulty pressure switch.you need a corgi mate

    ditto must mean alot to you mate.try changing the three port valve.the noise is coming due to pressure via the pump against the valve.depending on valve you may get away with changing the head of the valve.

    you can,t run a soil pipe to an air brick.rightfully the soil pipe should terminate outside the property.and fitting a durgo valve is a much prefered option as there is plenty of air in the attic to operate the durgo.bearing in mind the valve should be fitted at least 1m above the highest...

    i,d recommend removing elbow fitting air admittance valve(durgo valve)and blocking off the air brick if you can,t take the stack out through the roof

    C/H how to check for inhibitor, also boiler guarantee query

    best bet is to drain system flush with cleanser ie keep cleanser in system for 4-5 days then drain and add inhibitor.this would be the best solution rather than doing a lot of other things.
