Well that has been mentioned and i thank you for the thought also. The problem i see with that is that water may run into the rain channel on the tile and over the side as the tile will be slightly at an angle or maybe i am worrying to much?
Hello Again :) I now have the roof trusses on and they are the shape of the above drawing. The front square part of the roof has a 27.5 degree pitch and the rear part has a 15.5 degree pitch. Due to the pitch we have chose a Marley Malvern tile which can go down to 12 degrees if needed...
Thanks for the help guys. The truss company have come up with a good idea for the trusses and were are just going to have to trim the bottom of the tiles at the gutter.
It is hipped at the large end and a small gable at the short end.
The small hip is to be done away with. The pitch is going to be about 30 deg at the front and 17.5 at the back.
Thanks for the reply noseall. The builder says we could put plenty of 18"DPC along the bottom and then cut the tiles so if they let water thru it will hit the dpc and run into the gutter, does this sound ok?
