    Potterton Lynx2 Combi

Hi ianmcd. If I had an EV problem don’t you think the pressure would go over 3 bars when CH on as the primary water would have nowhere to expand? My boiler pressure has never gone beyond 3bars so far. That’s why I think it is only the PRV which lets by. Having said that, there is no harm in...

Hi ianmcd. I would say 2.7 bar so I guess the PRV should not open. But it does leak very slowly and after a while the pressure drops to zero.

hello guys hope you can help. The PRV of the above boiler is leaking. When the heating is on the pressure gauge shows below 3 bars and after 4-5 hours the pressure drops completely and the boiler does not fire up. Does the valve have a compression fitting on both sides? Does anyone know it’s...

Shall i just remove the cover once i have isolated the fan and disconnect the fan and see whether the impeller is blocked? If the impeller is not blocked, where do i locate the capacitor to replace it...

Hi guys thanks for getting back to me. It was working three days ago then when i got back to the flat this morning the fan did not go round. The fan is located just when you open the trap in the ceiling. I unscrewed the four slotted screws and dislodged the metal fan cover from its hinges. But...

    ostberg duct fan

Hello guys. i can do plumbing but not very good with electricity. In my flat there is a extractor fan Ostberg, article number: 7540001 type LPK 100A in the ceiling. All of sudden it is stopped working. On the instruction and maintenance paper it says to check first the impeller is not blocked or...

    pulsecoil 2000

Thanks for your reply Ian. i think i'll have to replace it. If i turn the clock manually, the water storage fires in both BOOST and TIMED so it tells me that the timer gets the power from mains. Time for a new one then. Thank you.
