    as the gap is in the middle of the hump does this not mean that the wood either side of the gap is expanding - ie pressure which has then caused the hump? if it is shrinking, the hump has not gone down - or will this take a longer period of time? thanks

    fingers crossed it will all move towards the expansion area. anyone had experience of how long this will take. Hump grew in a matter of days!! No Christmas/New Year party hosting for us - we'd have to take out persONAL injury insurance. Can just see the headlines - New year celebration man...
