Thanks - yes I was planning to contact the company and just ask them to let him know it needs looking at and to add on any extra charge accordingly (I think it's actually the nut to the left that is where it is dripping from, the rusty bit is old and has been that way since we moved in) so...

Yes it appears that's where the leak is from (the rad was removed and flushed last year when we had the boiler replaced) so may have just come a bit loose. I might try tightening that nut or just leave it till the service. Thanks all - appreciate the responses.

Thanks - I just wanted to double check - now done that. I presume now I've shut the TRV at one end off and now this one that the flow through is stopped? And any dripping water from the radiator side of the valve will be from the radiator contents only.

Hi Have a leak from the joint of valve to radiator that's started dripping a fair amount, and was going to isolate the radiator before getting an engineer to sort it next week when they come to service the boiler. However the end where I thought there would be a lockshield with the flat head...
