And yes sorry flown from the hot water tap, cold water runs fine but hot water drops off after 25 seconds or so

Hi, just moved into a flat that has been empty for over a year, I turned the night supply for the hot water on for the first time after around 25 seconds the pressure drops off. Any ideas or advice of what the issue could be?
