I'm stripping wallpaper of the living room walls but there seems to be glue paste l can't remove. I want to get the walls skimmed and have been told that l need to put PVA on first before it's skimmed. Can anyone advise me on how much it would cost to do this work on 4 walls? Whoever does it...

My partner is stripping off living room wallpaper with a steamer. The problem is not getting it stripped to the bare wall. Any recommendations on how to do this effeciently? And does the wall be plastering once the paper is removed?

Thanks for replies but l have a problem fitting it. It will only lock with the handle in the upright position as in this photo. It is in the open position holizontaly. An ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Bought handle but it won't move from its position. Handle isn't locked. Is it just faulty or am l missing something?

Does this mean l can remove the part attached to the window and replace the handle with an in line handle and what do they look like? Sorry for sounding like I haven't a clue what I need because l don't
