i replaced the pull cord swich and cut the burnt wire back

shower was installed when moved in matey, will this be causing the over heating of the service head fuse though or is that a separate fault?

hi guys, wen runnin the shower i seam to get a smell commin from the electric cuboard just where the live feed comes from the main 100 amp fuse also this fuse(service head fuse) gets quite hot at time and makes a cracklin noise. i no ive got to call the lecky board but can any one tell me why...
