sounds like too much hassle for all that carry on (do they still do 14")
as most appliances ie tv's come with a sealed plug top on them does that not invalidate the warranty if it is cut off?
the post quite clearly states that the socket is for a tv.
1 - not for an amp in an attic and
2 - 3 amp spur unsuitable for a tv
i'll re-phrase myself. i've never heard of anyone powering their television set off a lighting circuit!
the difference is that the "psc" measures the amount of short circuit current that could become present under extreme fault conditions and is measured in amps
the "earth loop" reading measures the resistance of the earth loop path ie phase and earth from the distribution board to transformer...
