I am far from it a DIY know it all, just assumed that you meant the radiators, an easy mistake to make. Hopefully, you won't be ar*ed to return to my thread. Comments like yours I don't need.

Nope, bled them all.

Radiators have been playing up so drained and flushed a couple. Now having trouble with the balancing. Followed all the usual instructions but downstairs being starved of hot water and are "just warm". As the sitting room is one of these "just warm" radiators, Mrs Riff is not best pleased...

I have Thermo controls on my radiators but they are there for appearance purposes only, they're useless. I do not have room or hallway thermos. What I do have however, is a thermo control on my gas boiler. Is it best to have the thermo set on low.....then I assume the gas will ignite more...

Thanks for that BM2. I'm not worried at all, just curious. Thing is, it's the second one I'm on to. There was nothing wrong with the first apart from a non working slider but theses programmers are the only ones that's been used and the original did the same from the installation of the system.

I have an L & G RWB2 and I'm happy with it. However, I would like to know why the CH pump comes on about 15 minutes before the gas ignites. I guess there's a simple answer but I'm not sure why cold water needs to be pumped around for 15 minutes. :?
