Well whaddya know....
So I was turning it the wrong way, lol.
After turning it the right way, it came off eventually.
I cleaned the inside where the filter is with some dry strong kitchen towel (folded/rolled up into a plush fitting rod shape) and also inside the compression elbow, put...
Absolute nightmare!
I got two adjustable spanners....
If I try turning the nut with just one of the spanners, the whole copper section just turns, and nothing ever loosens.
If I hold the copper section in place by holding the compression elbow further down with the other adjustable spanner...
Hi Paulg31
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I do. But can't. It just will not undo. Even after unscrewing the solenoid valve.
Though I've only got a pair of pliars, not a spanner that fits or any special tool, if one is required....
I've given up again. If anyone could please advise on what tool(s) I need to get the job done, I'll give it another try.
Otherwise, I guess I'll have to get a professional in, or a new shower....
One week later.....
I've hit a major hurdle again....

Please could someone tell me exactly where the inlet filter is and how I can gain access to it?
I've tried loosening the valve on the solenoid end but nothing is...
Thanks Madrab. I'll take another look in a bit.
Not sure what/where you mean at the moment, but hopefully I'll work it out.
EDIT: Yup, found it in the manual :-)
Looks a bit tricky.....
EAST61: what's the censored word?
Thanks John.
So simple in the end.
I removed them all, but there was very little gunge inside any of them.
Refitted everything, but the problem remains.
I guess the thing is broken and needs replacing :-(
Hi everyone,
I've got a problem with a Triton Martinique shower.... where the low pressure light is always on.
The shower's worked fine for 3 years, this problem has only just started a few days ago.
The general water pressure seems fine to me, same as it's always been.
The shower manual...
