we are laying new joists in the loft to support a new floor spaced at 400cc width of loft is 7m with a supporting wall at 3.5 meters in. we ar using 3.6m 8x2 and bolting together over the supporting wall. the problem is there is a 2m section with no supporting wall if we were to sister up 2 8x2...
