(Hopefully) simple question about gaps in laminate flooring

It's probably more than I deserve but it helps her things done. I've only not used this forum with my iPhone once ever. I'd really appreciate that if you could have a look. Don't go to more trouble than you can be bothered with, mind! If there IS a floor specialist in the dark ages, AKA...

(Hopefully) simple question about gaps in laminate flooring

Money is stretched & I jumped the gun when you mentioned 'buying cheap.' I try to get stuff which lasts and what you said struck a nerve. But you didn't say anything wrong and I apologise. I guess I'm just a bit embarrassed that this has happened. It's not your fault. At this point, I'd just...

(Hopefully) simple question about gaps in laminate flooring

I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner, an iPhone 5, a Sony Bravia TV and a disabled with with severe asthma. Suffice to say that if I could've afforded something which could last longer, I would have!! The difference in price to get something better to floor my home was going to be £6000.

Help: hanging some pictures on a difficult wall

The internal walls are all definitely partition walls. The wall joining to our neighbours house sounds more hollow than any other external wall I have ever knocked with my knuckle. The external wall just happens to be the only bare wall in our living room. Anyway, thanks for the help. As soon...

Help: hanging some pictures on a difficult wall

I have tried using a powerdrill but I didn't realise I had to go so far into the brick. I also have no idea if I'd go right into the neighbours house!! I've thought for a while that there's a gap behind the plasterboard but I mentioned it to someone and they said that process doesn't exist...

Help: hanging some pictures on a difficult wall

Hello, complete newbie here. My DIY experience doesn't stretch very far and I'm doing it out of necessity more than anything else. I feel that I'd probably enjoy it if I'd had some tuition as a child and, as a result, been at all good at it. But failure is always an unenjoyable experience...
