The White threaded part split clean off the base

Thanks Dan. I thought I might've over tightened it, or under. Could also have cross threaded it. What would you need a picture of? The connection itself?

Hi, I replaced the toilet fill valve unit and when I flushed it the water supply pipe burst off. The nut attached to the pipe split so will need a new pipe, but what did I do wrong to make it happen? Thanks! Erin
