Thanks for the quick reply. I am worried in case the gas pipe heats up when the oven is on......I suppose it will heat up even if it was a gas oven.....? Cheers, James

Hi everybody, I am in the middle of renovating my kitchen. I had a gas oven which I took out and changed to an electric oven. The gas pipe which is behind the oven has been sealed off (there is a valve and it has been capped off after the valve) by a competent plumber, but it sticks out...
