Thanks. It is concrete. It is just very wet because this has been happening for a while. No there are no leaks anywhere else. Only here since the plumbers replaced the top part of the pipe.

The water when flushed comes from under the concrete. I wish I could upload the video here!

Hi, we’ve recently had the old waste pipe (grey) in our house replaced (black) and we’ve noticed that when the toilet is flushed, a pool of water comes from underneath the contrite and pools. There is a crack in the back of the old grey waste pipe but I’m not sure if that’s the cause? Does...

This was how the insulation looked. So there was a plasterboard (I hope) then the plastic membrane then a brown backed insulation sheet which had been there since the house was built in 1969

It doesn’t look like the AIB board on the back of the door… we took the kitchen one off however, the fact there’s no insulation behind those under window boards makes me wonder.. literally just hate brick x

This here is in the kitchen near the window. Those air vents were covered by a kitchen cupboard and apparently used to be used for larders. Hoping the board is just plasterboard again! It’s gone now but I’m panicking !!! ‍♀️

Also this is the thin bosrd I was talking about under the windows in the bedrooms. The side panel I think is plasterboard but the one where the lays are directly under the window is thin and there’s just a brick wall behind it!

Thank you! This is a newer part of the house that was a bedroom and made into a wet room by the previous owners. Not sure if it’s just cement around the windows but I doubt asbestos?
