Mix your own (nice n smooth) and finish with 120 grit paper :)

Rather than go to the expense, and trouble, of having the walls re-skimmed (which for a professional finish, the skirtings and architrave would need to be removed and then refitted) a lining paper finish would seem a better option. This would require a substantial amount of preparation work...

Just fixed my own CT25 after reading this thread. Thanks very much :) Saved meself a few quid there!
