Ok Rock1 I pulled the earth spade connector and wiring block connector off the motor and the lights stayed on the front and the mains hasnt blown. Can I safely presume if i replace the motor the machine should be ok? Cheers

My washing machine tripped the mains during a wash. After trying fuse and different socket I have emptied washing and water, blown down the pressure pipe, disconnected all wires from heater element. When switched on the lights on the front light up and the house hold mains still trip after...
