Ah I finally fixed it! The original part would not come off it took 4 days of twisting and force to eventually loosen it and I eventually, in a fit of rage, got it to come off last night before bed! Swapped the part over this morning, a few choice words trying to get the push button to sit...

I've read your replies to others with same issue and watched the video you shared, but for the life of me I cannot get just the one part to twist/ unclip out. Really frustrating. Any tips? I've tried using a cloth over it to give more traction but no luck. I'll try again in the morning.

I've bought the part but do I need to take the whole cistern off to fit it? I'm going to struggle to do that myself.

Hello, Our toilet stopped refilling. I did some research and thought it was the fill valve. I have managed to replace that today with a new one but it now just constantly runs rather than filling the cistern. I've obviously gone wrong somewhere but not sure where. Any advice please?
