Thanks breezer, I will let my friend know and we will try to get something else sorted out. Do you think we can get a refund on the bearings as we have already brought them?

I am trying to repair my friends washing machine, where the bearings have gone, but it appears to have a sealed outer drum and I can't see any other way of removing the bearings. Does any one have any advise on how to accomplish this?
