The area is 1.6 x 1m. The issue is the drain goes down an old toilet waste pipe on the other side of the room (under the spray bottle in the picture). So you have to build something over that.
Well I'm moderately embarrassed...
I just turned the burner off and on again... and it burst into life and I now have hot water. I DEFINITELY did that yesterday to no avail but maybe I hadn't bled stuff properly at that point?
I still have no central heating, but at least I can have a shower...
Central heating also appears to be not working - but I had put it on earlier and seemed fine. The flow light appears to be working I think I just had turned it off for the photo.
The hot water pump has 240v to it, the CH pump doesn't (with the CH on). Should you be able to feel it running?
Today I had to isolate a radiator from the central heating circuit. It's just a small towel rail thing and I just joined the plastic pipes together where it was for the time being.
The central heating pressure had dropped to 0 by the time I had it sorted. I added water and bled some radiators...
Thanks for the replies. I have a bit more exposed.
I don't understand why you would just cover it up like this. Was it because it was leaking or just an aesthetic preference do you think?
I've been looking to tackle this shower. The water leaks and has soaked the parquet flooring, which is rotten. I noticed while I was showering that some of the tiles would rock when you stepped on them, and you'd see air bubbles come out the grout.
I scraped the grout out around a tile and...
Yeah i noticed that. The gutter has been cemented in though. Going nowhere.
Oh no. In what manner? Yeah that is a hole under the lead  But anything else?
But water will run down the fabric right? Because for one thing there's big gaps between these tiles, and tiles broken in 2, which I wasn't worried about because I thought this fabric would sort the rest out. Is that not the case?
Yeah, I guess I just thought there'd be something more substantial to stop water running down the wall, but clearly not because it's been leaking the whole way along nearly. I'm just not sure the best way to proceed now...
Hello,
I've been having a saga with this roof which has been leaking. It's a lean-to extension. I found a hole in the membrane, which is nice, id just like some guidance how to beat close it up now please.
First off, does my cover-up look alright?
Should I put a bead of something along the top...
