Hand tightened but got a little weep, used silicone on the seals and plumbers mait round the threads, someone mentioned a waste kit from B+Q with no need to use silicone. Thanks again for your help

I am concerned about bashing the bath with a lump / Sledge hammer knowing that I have a brand new ceiling in the room below.

I'd sooner eat a smoked kipper than bash a bath. lol
