I'll check that tomorrow! It's raining and the outside lights are on a sensor - I don't fancy dancing around outside getting wet to make them come on.

Hopefully you can see the pictures of the CU. The RCD that I use to reset the sockets when they fail is the one next to the big red switch. The socket MCB is to the left of it. The MCBs and RCD at the other end of the CU are all fine.

I 've unplugged every everything from the sockets and tried each one in turn with a simple lamp. They're all currently working. I'll try to get a picture of the CU and post it here. It's in a bit of an awkward position!

There's definitely power to the CU as there is a lighting circuit also on it and that works no problem

I think I'll get a sparks in if my checking of the sockets is inconclusive. I don't want to start poking around in the CU -that's well outside my level of expertise
