update: I received a new end piece that screws on the spout from the tap importers, it included what appears to be a fine mesh gause. It has stopped the run on for the last few days. Only time will tell.

I have just had new 'swan neck' type taps (Norrie from Magnet) fitted as part of a new kitchen. I didn't know and wasn't warned that this style of taps suffers from run on, ie the water continues to pour out after the valve is closed. The problem is that it continues to run on for between 12 and...
