    They suffer really bad with cim modules. Only thing you can really do without a scan tool is check for a live and earth at the horn when pressed. Can you hear a clicking from the fuse box under bonnet when pressed. It has a relay and fuse inside that fuse box for horn. You could try with...

    Hi is there any reason to update firmware on my texecom elite 64. its running 4.02..01. ive just replaced my smartcom after my original one was too old and couldn't connect, I've updated the new smartcom to the latest firmware via cloud. I cant see how to update the panels firmware on the cloud...

    It was working but I never used it for a few years. But I think it was connected to the network in that time.

    Is there a way to upgrade the firmware on a smartcom. It won’t connect. It generates a code but says comms is null. I suspect firmware is too old.
