Its quite common on the sprint I'm afraid. Its usually caused by leaving it in the van overnight and conensation causing damage to the sensor. It also sometimes goes into Smart Purge when this happens.
So, once you've got it sorted, make sure you bring it in every night.
You should be able to get approx 55 to 60deg, sometimes more depending on what the boiler stat is set at. As for the capacity, I'm not sure but I'd guess its about the 30 gallon mark.

Garthgas card can have credit on it before it goes in to meter as some used to be sent out wth a credit already o them. As long s it is put into the correct meter first there will be no problems.
Erm...thats exactly what I said. The fact that it may/may not have money on it is...
ChrisR is right
Any 'tilt' or tamper sensor can only be reset by your supplier.
When you had your new card, did you put credit on it straight away or did you put it in the meter for 30 seconds first?
Its important that the card is registered to your meter by doing this BEFORE you put any...
There's a bit of a knack to using PTFE.
First of all, forget o rings
I prefer the thinner 'non gas' type. Wrap it around the fitting in the 'wrong' direction so that when you go to tighten it, its not going to unravel. Also, I like to stretch it ever so slightly so that it kind of grips the...
I say yes, go for it. DIY in your own home is allowed if you are competent. You will only get into trouble if you do something wrong. However, if you are having it checked/commissioned by a corgi before you use it then you are not breaking any laws.
A pressure test has nothing to do with your problem. It doesn't test after the gas valve.
My approach would be to turn off at mains, remove cover & soapy test the pilot assy. If all's well, I'd suspect that the pilot is too small or not aimed over the burner properly. As its LPG, double check...
when you say that the boiler continues to run, do you mean its actually firing or is it just the pump over running? If its just the pump thats running and the boiler isn't firing, it should stop after 5 10 or even 15 mins or so.
Agree with Raden about the likely cause but I think he's understating the Landlord bit.
Call him in the morning and DEMAND that he gets someone to fix it the same day. Anything else is not acceptable. The cost of rental is related to the fact that you have heating there.
These guys get away...
