Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. We think we have found a suitable outside wall (not in the kitchen) so we can look at a more conventional installation. Regards

We have a Potterton Kingfisher (about 25 years old) sited in a cellar using an existing chimney (lined)as its flue. There is no suitable external wall to site a new flue and we are struggling to find a place in the kitchen to take a new boiler. (Also we live in a thatched, listed building!)...
