Hi just to let people know the central heating temp controller on front panel plastic spindle had snapped. So although it still turned was not cotrolling temperature.

Yes there is issue with prv sticking open so have to top up system every 4 ir 5 days that is being replaced today but not sure that would affect CH temp.

Yes all but bathroom have trv's fitted all are about same temp inc bathroom. Have half closed all lockshields to try reduce flow but no difference.

Hi i have a Ideal logic plus 24 boiler. 5 rads on system all warm but not hot. Temp on boiler set to max. Flow and return pipes feel warm but not hot. What would be likely causes Cheers George

Hi Richard Yes shower feeds come up from pump about 14 inches go across a couple of feet then drop down to shower mixer. I know this is not ideal but outlet has to come up then back down to mixer. cheers george

Thanks John So to prove your point if I was to open a hot tap when pump is airlocking I shouldn't be getting water out of that tap as water level in cylinder will be below outlet. cheers George

hi burner man thanks for reply how can air be drawn down expansion - the draw off on surrey flange goes down into cyinder by about 6 inches whereas draw off for taps etc comes from top of cylinder if you see what i mean. Thanks in advance George
