    Yes and that I understand is what the condensate pipe is for but I think the water is entering via the outer casing in which the flue is housed which I think is where the air is drawn into the system although as you can tell I am not an expert!

    Ok if it is supposed to slope upward then you are not going to stop the water from entering the flue and so I am guessing all condensing boilers have this problem.

    The condensate pipe is connected to the downpipe and I checked to make sure and it was not blocked. But the flue is not level and is sloping upward. So I am guessing it may be the flue thats the problem although disconnecting the condensate pipe to the down pipe would prove its not that.
