I can't tell for sure from my photo but I suspect there is a (very) slight fall on the new pipe. Is it possible to get some sort of adjustable/bendy adapter that would connect the new shower waste to the 4" soil pipe?
The hole is where the old pipe came out. The old shower was higher up than the new one so obviously the new one is lower (he ran it under the floor). The new one is to the left of the photo so you can't see it. The new one should just connect where the old one was (to the 4" pipe) and I have...
