Being a proper registered gas installer is one of the most expensive occupations to be in. It never use to be like that. The more checks and balances to authourities put on us the worse it gets.
The media, like yourself play on it and so all the wanabees think thats a good crack to get into...
Funningly enough I had same fault code this morning on a Turbo max plus I fitted in 2001.
The original installation manual states "boiler goes to lockout"
no gas
insufficient gas
incorrect gas pressure
All proved okay
fault code also says igniter or ignition lead- which I have ordered...
High, I recently removed an IKON 28t and have some almost brand new parts such as a fan diverter valve pump and plate heat exchanger and main heat exchanger. I have a pcb but not sure if it is okay or not. The customer had a contract with a national service company and they starting changing...
Perhaps it only applies if an extractor fan is fitted in same room. Its a long time since I last did warm air and then we only fitted one combustion air grill direct to outside if w/a unit is in same room. Double check your instructions.
Probably fan -needs checking . if possible you could go outside to flue and see if fan is "exhausting cold air out centre part of terminal."
I am in BH6 if that is close by.
Most common problem I find on these boilers is the fan packs up. The fan kicks in the pilot. Can you here the fan running or just a faint hum.
What part of dorset are you?
