have checked all fuses and all seem ok

got an escort van W reg 55, bout 120k on the clock. when I turn the heaters on it will only blow thru cold air. If i turn the blowers off completely i can feel the slightest amount of warmth come thru. Please can anyone advise as all the other threads i read are saying that the blowers dont...
