Back on to Beko blocks, I vaguely remember seeing a Grand Designs where the house was essentially sunk into the ground and used a Beko type system to build the underground walls. I have recollection of it leaking badly. Any have any feeling regarding how water-tight Beko walls are?

SIPS have been used in the States for years. I looked at using them in the UK about 7-8 years ago. I spoke a an outfit near Bedford. www.siptec.co.uk Only thing that stopped me was the price of the land. Out in NZ, can get the land but no-one out here make the panels, I'm considering...
