    Here we go. so the pillar with the concrete base is 210mm. My plan is to continue that base over to the other side. with 1 course of engineering bricks then a damp course. I also want to install a double door. So I'm hoping to use the steel lintel already in place but still look at door...

    Double garage with an over head door which i wish to remove and replace with a double door. There is a steel lintel resting on two brick pillars. I'd like confirmation on if its best to tooth the pillars and carry on the wall. They'll be a new concrete foundation to support the brickwork 10cm...
