    Shower tripping mcb

There's been a development in that we experienced a trip without the shower being in use today. Best get a spark in I guess.

OK I had a shower tonight and all was fine. Mrs GiganticDays had one (longer and probably hotter than mine) and it tripped twice. Bugger! Think I need someone to check it out.

Scoby_Beasley You have sent me a PM but I can't reply as we're not "friends". Looks like you'll need to allow messages from people who aren't friends to get a reply. Stranger Danger is real mind you!

Typo. It's the RCD, but not the individual one for the shower; it's everything.

I had already done that (a couple were a bit loose), but I've done it again so they're really tight. Ran the shower for 10 mins and all ok so far. Will try again later when I have a proper shower. Thanks for the advice.

We've had a Redring California Plus electric shower for around six or seven years. Recently while in use the entire board has tripped. It doesn't happen every time but it seems to be happening more often than not. Any idea what's causing this? New shower needed?

Recommended combi for large house but limited fitting space.

As stated earlier our current combi (WB 24cdi) manages to heat our home and DHW just fine and it's only 24Kw. Is there any reason I need to go for a 35Kw combi for the sake of two extra rads? Any thoughts on the Ideal Logic boilers?

The new site is on an outside wall not close to door/windows so as far as I know it should be fine (although I'm not the expert).

Does anyone have experience of the Ideal Logic Plus 35Kw combi. Sounds like it fits the bill but I've never heard of the brand.

Not sure I understand. We currently have a combi boiler (Worcester-Bosch 24cdi) which powers 10 rads and the hot water just fine. The difference is - we'll be adding two extra small rads and re-siting the boiler. We currently don't have any heating issues when running baths. We do have a...
