I am not a plumber but I had a similar problem (banging) and I bled the radiators it seamed to work for a while but not a full fix. So I called out British gas, who told me that my system was sludged up and needed flushing! What I will say is that cause of this we needed a new pump too! Hope...

Recently I have had a new combi boiler fitted, only to then find out that my power shower in now no good to me! So I thought that I would fit a shower head to my existing mixer tap, but its been capped! Has any one any ideas how I can uncap this and use it as a shower? Thanx
