Understood, though I plan to live here 'forever', or at least a while, so any differences will probably weather away over a long time. To be honest they haven't done a great job anyway of keeping the mortar consistent across the walls. I mainly care about keeping rain/damp out the wall.

Thanks for the responses. Even if no concern, I presume I am still well within my rights to insist it is fixed - so cracked bricks substituted or if only a very minor crack filled in?
