yes pressure does rise when i recharge system ,i may sound like a bit of a **** but i cannot find a drain on the bottom of the pump and have been draining down by operating pressure relief valve is that ok .(i really am all at sea with boilers )

i'am afraid i dont really no what i' am doing when testing but have tested when system drained down and pumped up to 1bar seems better and running at just over 2.5 bar on presure gauge any tips on testing greatly accepted

boiler never cuts out just makes loads of churning noises(water) when it goes below 1bar on gauge

no water coming out of valve ,but i am running a rather large system with 2 large victorian column radiators +6 others one of witch is rather large but system ran ok for about a year

it runs h/w ok it is just a problem with c/h

when you say drain the boiler do you mean competley drain the entire system or just drop system pressure

my boiler is still over pressureing checked expansion vessel and it is still at 1 bar. When c/h is running pressure gauge reads 3.5 + and vents any ideas

that's a bit crappy it's only just over a year old serves me right for buying british, got stung with rover to ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ just a thought ,but if expansion vessel is n/g would hot water and cetral heating mix ? MOD please use the edit key

not whishing to be a pest but why would expansion vessel lose pressure is it a comon fault ?

pumped up and tried still seams to be getting high pressure on system 3 bar, checked expansion vessel when warmed up and is at 2 bar is this normal?

found valve ,do you have to drain off the system totaly, or just relive system pressure,have just checked after reliving system pressure and at zero!!!!!!!!

how do you do that? do you have to take it off the wall? hot water is ok it only happens when heating is used

hi not used this site before hoping someone out there can help ,my boiler that has just come out of warranty, don't you just love them ,goes over system pressure after running for about 20 mins and dumps its guts out of the safety valve .It does not stop running but makes loud gurgling noise's...
