thanks for the fast reply. is there a way i can just cross a wire from the existing wires (the ones on the right) so i can get power to go into the left and feed the wall lights?

i have purchased a new 2 way dimmer today so i can connect the new wall lights i have installed to the line. i have succsesfully wired the first dimmer but am haveing trouble with the second, i do not know how to transfer power to the wall lights from the existing wires. here is a diagram...
