I have found void on the bedroom with will accommodate the boiler - plan to put a door post install. Regarding soundproof, do I simply put soundproof foam in the void (on plaster board and door when its installed) or shoudl I get someone to build an enclosure like a cabinet inside the void.

Every gas safe registered engineerb who has been around to quote for replacement say the flue install is wrong, and so is drainage. How do I find the engineer who installed my baxi. barrats say they do not hold documentation. should barrats have the certificates? is there a central library...

Interesting. Barrat claim the install was valid legal and safe at the time of the install year 2000/2001. Do you know if this would be the case and what documents I need to be looking for to confirm?
