hi all, is it quite difficult to change my header tank with a like for like ? i,ve found it is cracked and leaking. have seen one on screwfix £47.99.

i have just fitted a new light in a bedroom, but the light is permenently on ! i,ve obviously connected it wrong but to avoid blowing a fuse could anyone HELP. thanks

cheers for the reply lads, the switch doesnt control an outside light, it,s in living room where there are two lights. it was in loop system when i took it out to put new light up. NOW NONE OF MY CEILING LIGHTS WORK !!!!!!! dont know where to conect the single black wire . :oops:

i,m trying to fit a new light but am having a problem, i have 3 red and black wires with earths but there is a single black wire on it,s own. have tried to connect with red and black in new fitting but nothing happened, have tried all red and black wires seperatley but havent used the single...

i have recently moved into a house that has been empty for 6/8 months. when i blead the rads only a small amount of air came out, but the water was black ! i continued for ages but it was still the same. shouldnt it run clear after a while ? any help greatfull.

cheer,s for reply crafty. when you say it,s knackered , the problem is a big one then ? can,t be repaired ? or is it a costly problem ? . it is a oven grill. but only had it on the oven setting when i heard a pop. electric circuit problem ? any help would be gratefull crafty. cheers

can anyone help ? cooker is playing up grill working but oven isn,t . changed fuse because thats about my limit in electrics ! but heard a pop ! so have now given up. have been told it could be the element. any ideas please, its a TEKA electric oven.

hi all ! i have an halstead ace high combi boiler, when i run the hot water it takes a very long time for the water to get hot. then after a while the combi will trip out. it,s very tempremental as sometimes this happens then it wont. but if its used again for hot water it will then trip out...
