Boiler: Vaillant Ecotec 837 condensing boiler Just had the above boiler installed and I have a slight problem. Every time I turn on a COLD water tap and then turn it off, the boiler pump comes on for 15-20 secs. This happens every time cold water is drawn from the mains.....i.e. toilet...

Ok. Just had a Vaillant 837 installed and all seems well, except that when I run a cold tap, the boiler pump starts up. Not the burner, just the pump. Can't understand this as surely a cold tap should have no effect on the boiler? Any ideas whether this is normal. seems pretty inefficient to...
