Thanks for your reply Alastair. That’s a big gap to fill with silicone. Noted on the draft. That must be coming from another source.

I’ve just noticed that the end cap isn’t screwed to the brick either.

I hve noticed that the facia board on one side of my kitchen isn't sealed, see photo, which might explain why sometimes I can feel a draft coming through my down lights. What is the best way to rectify this ?
