This is what is so annoying John. Reading through numerous threads and articles, it appears that codes are not always thrown out, especially with fuel and air issues. Of course, it could be my cheap code reader as I have heard they have limited functionality.

Thank you both. I have ordered a MAF sensor as it makes no difference if it’s connected or not. Next I will try the speed sensor. Cdbe, I am trying all the cheap stuff first but I am stubborn so will get in an ‘expert as a last resort!
