no wall taken down but bigger doorway opening been done before i lived here and its below where we get most noise

thank you all, im going to take floor boards up at weekend when have time i will measure depth and get back to you i will also screw boards back down ,once again people thank you for your time

when sat downstairs and somebody walking in the bedroom all you can hear is the ceiling creaking wonder if anybody can help thank you
